MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Welding in the Midlands
Hi all I have a spare RWA shell sitting on the drive that needs new A posts, outer sills and rear bottom wings, my usual guy cannot do it until Sept and I would like to get cracking before then. Any recomendations would be welcome, I dont mind if someone comes to me or I take it to them. I realy need to start welding myself, its one thing I have never mastered. |

Blimey, Rob, that looks remarkably good! Is it Citron or Limeflower? I'd be tempted to have a go at it, but my poor old MGB has been promised that it will back on the road before summer! |

Funny that Dave, I could not stand the colour when I bought it but evrey time I look at it I sort of warm to it just a little bit more... |

Just learn ow to weld! All you need is a cheap MIG, a bottle of CO2 gas and a reactive mask. And you then get the added warm fuzzy feeling of having done it all yourself. Ok, it takes a little bit of practice, but once you're up and running it saves so much money and gives you greater confidence to get stuck in. |

Rob you could try Graham Goodall (masc member) from Redditch on 01527 65120 - He restores Healey 3000's and has a midget in the workshop now - Honourable guy whom I navigated for on the London - Sydney Classic Marathon in 1993 in his rally Healey |
