MG Midget and Sprite Technical - what doors for screenless midget?

Evening all,
I picked up a rather sad 1500 midget about a year ago and have slowely evicting the rust worms.
This isn't my first mg rebuild and as the car isn't really a rae/great example of the midget I've toyed with making it into a one off. As part of this I've wondered what it would look like with just brooklands style aero screens.. so today I removed the windscreen/qurterlights just to get an idea and I quite like to look.. but the doors dont look right (as the front edge doesn;t follow the bulkhead profile - obviously).
Having a quick look on google images there are a few pics of midgets with the aeroscreens.. and they appear to be fitted with differen doors that do follow the bulkhead (and also have no external fittings/handles). Now are these one off doors? or.. are they frogeye doors?
Any thoughts/guidance greatly appreciated.

You need mkI doors and it will still look like shtt because they do not match the B post.
And aero screens look bad on anything post TC.

Now think period racer and cut down the wind screen and change that in to a 10cm high flyscreen.
That looks good and solves your door problem

I used cut off screen posts for wing mirror mounts.

Short perspex screen is legal in the UK if you can see over it, it seems. The doors are welded in place and a small cover rivetted over the leading edge.

if you look closely at William Smallridge's car, you will see there are small fillets welded to the scuttle to allow it to blend into the doors on a later car

Another bit of beautiful work by Mike Johnston

Steve - very nice :)

Peter - Ah! theres a thought, I'd have to weld up the openings for the windscreen anyway so I could easily fabicate some peices to smooth into the original doors... Thanks!
