MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Where's Prop?
Where's Prop? Haven't seen a post in awhile. Did the Black Hole midget ever run? Just curious...hope all's well. Dave |
Dave Rhine |
I seem to remember he said he was going working away for a couple of weeks. He'll be back I'm sure. and then the Black Hole saga can continue. Bernie. |

He got back home utterly exhausted and is sleeping all day today. He will be in rare form when he wakes up! David "a little bird told me..." Lieb |

He was out of town on a job for a couple of weeks and I believe he's now visiting his family for Christmas. I expect to hear from him here on the board next week with the continuing story of the "Black Hole" . Maybe Santa will bring him some luck with that engine. |

By luck....you mean the patience to search, read and absorb before posting ? ;-) I hope it runs soon. |
Dean Smith ('73 RWA) |
no with luck he must mean not overcomplicating things and just folowing the advice given... ;) |
Onno Könemann |
OK, just HOW is this a technical question? Surely Prop must be embarrassed to see how his name is being used here. David "facetious? me???" Lieb |
David Lieb |
David, Prop is very technical. (lol) I can't wait until the engine saga is completed. If you believe in such things, the Earth was created in only 6 days. Child's play compared to this engine saga. :-) |

Whew!!! Im back to the land of the leaving, Im so glad christmas is over for me...said good riddence till next season to my nephews and nieces, how do children do it there only 7-14 years in age and where STILL bouncing off the walls when they left to go to the airport using airport transfers tonbridge to head back home, me---I was the abused play toy in "home alone" for the past several days I found the job site a far restful place to be LOL. But its good to be back home for a few days, lots of sleep in my near future. Im looking forward to tomarrow, (christmas) If you recall in the ongoing drama (As the midget engine spins) my most recent set back was the hi torque starter was just barly engauging the alumium starter ring gear (1/16th of an inch), because the gap from the thick back plate of the rivergate kit made the space to broad. so I had to have the starter mounting plate CNC'd for better engaugement, I got the starter back, but its sitting on the shelve where I sat it about 20 days ago, So tomarrow Ill get it installed and god willing Ill have a cool christmas present of a new black hole engine will roaring to life. Frankly In all truth, deep in my gut, I dont think it will start, but at least Im closer then I was 20 days ago, I cant wait to see what happens next, The ainticapation of finding whats wrong next to overcome Its sorta like ... Christmas, LOL. Prop...How dare someone connect my name to techincal details |
