MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Windscreen frame colour
Does anyone know a good paint colour match for the inside of a 72 midget windscreen frame. I've just removed the sun visors ( things never worked and just got in the way) and now need to fill in the holes the self-tappers have left. I'm guessing some sort of aluminium colour but thought I'd ask before trawling through halfrauds paint shelves. |

Rob, these frames are anodized and not painted. Aluminium is not good for painting as paint does not 'key' very well, you could of course use an etch primer, but you are now looking at an unnecessary build up of paint. Perhaps a trawl through Halfrauds could be your answer for a quick fix... It is afterall on your doorstep..... :-) Mark. |

Just leave the holes in place. It'll be less of a headache for the next owner in case they want to put them back in. Seth "Previous Owner Syndrome" Jones |
