MG Midget and Sprite Technical - wire wheels
will MGB wire wheels fit on a midget? Are the hubs the same? |

have a look in the Archives if you don't get an answer I don't know for sure but I'd guess not and think possibly that was the answer but I've got a poor memory on such things |

Thanks, I already talked to Dayton Wire wheels and they will fit Midget hubs to 14" MGB rims on order. The problem I had and still have (even with the 14's) is tire availability. If you're not running 17's or bigger nobody wants to talk to you. Who is making 13 & 14 inch tires these days? |

By the way Nigel, my last MG was a '74 purchased new. It was damask red with wires. Sadly I totaled it in '77. |

I've no idea what it's like over there but there are loads of 13" tyres and even more 14" over here (and 15" and 16") perhaps you could ask on the B forum and wait for more fellow USA posters to arrive to get more accurate local info to you |

sorry I missed your last post I think Damask looks a lot better on Bs, I had a B that was Carmine just slightly lighter |
