MG MGA - 1500-1600 engine interchangeability

I have a 1600cc bare block and a complete 1500cc engine. Can I use the internals of the 1500 (crankshaft, camshaft, lifters, head, etc) to complete the 1600 engine? I know that appropriate pistons would have to be used.
