MG MGA - AA HAA BMC Alternate propulsion device.
Hi Guys The title says it all this early prototype must have slipped off of the secret test bench in Abington . HAD to have been for the MGA as it was so far ahead of its time!!! ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Generator-Austin-English-Unusual-As-New-Please-Look_W0QQitemZ4568677014QQcategoryZ80735QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

Probably someone was trying to do something like this. http://www.pipercubforum.com/windgen.htm Since most piston aircraft engines have a magneto ignition, they don't need a battery and generator to run. Many old small planes like Piper Cubs had no electrical systems and are started by spinning the prop. If you wanted to add a radio, they often added a wind powered generator. |

I dunno, turn that propeller the right way and you could gain some acceleration. ;) |
