MG MGA - A Automatic

Anybody ever tried to fit a Borg Warner automatic gearbox (similar to MG B) into an MG A ?

I know of one MGA in Holland that back in the seventies was converted to an automatic because the owner was handicapped, but I can't remember if it was a Borg Warner. But a Marina engine with an automatic gearbox should fit without too many problems, I think.
