| No but a year or so ago I had my MGA on their rolling road for a similar event. Got the chart somewhere. :) |

| Mark We had about 10 cars at the Aldon test day- The results are being published in Safety Fast My Mk 2 Coupe with 1622 motor achieved 84 BHP at the Fly wheel amd 56 BHP at the Wheels and 105 bhp torque @3000 rpm which apparently is better than when new. The good news was that all the tuning for my car seemed spot on and did not need any adjustments- pleasing for me as I had done all my own tuning and servicing which confirmed I had got it right Paul |

| Paul I had my 1600 tested at Peter Burgess' in the summer and had 62bhp at the wheels at 4200 rpm and max torque at 90lbft at around 2500 rpm. The manual suggests max power at 79.5bhp at 5600rpm at the engine and torque at 87lbft at 3800rpm. Not much difference in the max values excepting losses in transmission but the rpm values are quite different. |

| Mark This was the first one the register has organised- It follows the midget test day last year- I suspect that if sufficient demand Aldon will be quite happy to organise another day By the way I dont think the MX5 was really trying -scared of exceeding the speed limit too much!!! John The Mk2 1622 torque according to Haynes is 97lb ft @4000 rpm cant explain the rpm difference excepting I have a slightly skimmed head ,lightened flywheel and a mild tuned cam- have not got the full details as engine was rebuilt by the previous owner some years ago and I just have the invoice with bare details Paul |
