MG MGA - Another first drive...!

Hello all,

Just had to share my thrills taking my mk2 vintage racer around the block for the first time today! I started the car about 12 months ago and tore it down to the bare frame. There are a few minor bugs to work out, like squishy brakes (re-bleed again!), but otherwise it runs like a scalded ape. Yippee!!!

Hi John. Congratulations on completion of your A! There is nothing quite like the thrill of that first post restoration drive. BTW: 12 months has to be some kind of record for a frame off restoration! Mine took 18 months back in 1980. I was young, and was putting in mega hours! Congrats! Glenn
