MG MGA - Aussie porting
Thanks mainly to Barney, I now understand the Alloy v origonal head question. I will have my own cylinder head reshaped, ported etc. Who in the Sydney area understands what is required ? With 135 to 138 compression pressures I'm assuming the ratio is std. 8.3 [ Aust. production ] Is there much to be gained skimming to 8.9 ? The engine happily pulls a 3.9 diff. helped by an extracter long branch manifold locally made [less than $200] thanks Sean |
