MG MGA - Boss kit /hub adapter
I have a vintage Racemark/Raid 14" steering wheel. It has a 6 bolt adapter pattern on the steering wheel. I'm looking to find a hub so I may attach this steering wheel to my '58 MGA . I have a hub but it fits a mgb Any thoughts Thanks for your help. John |

Jon The MG Owners Club over here appears to show a 6-bolt adapter for an MGA boss. Have a look at item 14 on this link: http://tinyurl.com/cryalm3 Steve |

Be aware that there are a couple of different 6 bolt patterns (different PCD - the diameter of the pattern of holes differs). |

I did check with MGOCspares and the 6 bolt pattern of the boss was larger in diameter of the the one I'm seeking. Thanks for your help. John |

Does anyone know if an MGA boss is the same as early MGB? I see an Autotechnica boss listed as fitting MGA and early MGB, the Autotechnica bosses (though a bit cheap) have both common 6 bolt patterns on them, so may well fit your wheel? See here: http://www.autotecnica.com.au/boss_kit_mgb.html Hope it helps. |
