MG MGA - Bracket to hold overflow pipes
Does anyone know of a source for the bracket and screw on the block that holds the two carb overflow pipes, per the illustration on page AA.2 of the MGA Workshop Manual? - Ken |

Ken, Anglo-parts shows the clip as their p/n 172.276- They show it in stock. Price is $4.11 USD + shipping, etc, etc, etc. Their full description is " Clip, double pipe style to hold pipes to engine" I don't see the screw/bolt listed- Bolt is probably an Ace Hardware / gil |

Thanks Gil - that's the exact clip, and I'm sure you're right about the bold being a standard fit. The price is right, but the shipping from Belgium will probably exceed it so now that I see what it is, I'll see if I can find a close match at ACE, or a flange I can use to fashion one myself. - Ken |

Ken, I see that Clarke Spares & Restorations lists that clip in their catalogue. Part # M37-03 "Clip (double pipe style) to hold overflow pipes--carb. to side of engine". I don't have a current price list, but everything I have bought from them has been realonable. www.clarkespares.com or (215) 348-0595 |

Thanks Ed - I'll give Todd a call. I've also bought from him before and been happy with the quality and price. - Ken |
