MG MGA - Clutch

In switching out my motor from the 1500 to the 1800G what clutch should be used? Do I have a choice? And is one favorable over the other?

The MGB clutch is preferable as it's a stronger design. You'd need to replace your MGA gearbox front plate and clutch throwout lever with those from an early MGB. As always, read what the guru has to say... http://www.mgaguru.com/mgtech/clutch/ct_102.htm
