MG MGA - Coil mounting brackets

I'm getting ready to paint my GB 1500 engine, (58 Coupe)...if the generator was originally engine color what is the correct color for the 2 coil brackets, one around the generator and the small coil holding bracket that attaches to the band...thanks,
