MG MGA - Cool MGA related find!

I found this trophey at a flea market.

I may be persuaded to part with it for an interesting trade.

And how big is it? And what did you steal it for?

Hi Chris -
How is your barn find coming. Did you make your cross country tour this year? Any new photos?

I would have liked to get to that barn before you - it looks very interesting - do you intend to race
Ole Aaen

Hey Gil, It says MGCC Best place couple 1961 or something to that effect.

Hey Derek, It is about 6 inches tall and the car is about 3.5 inches long. I stole it because I thought it was pretty.

Hey Skip, Got sidetracked, the machine shop took too long preparing my rear engine plate and custom flywheel and only just recently got them back. I am hoping for a mid oct. first unregistered backroads run followed by a short incarceration and then a quick trip to the DMV. I will post more pics of the progress soon.

Hey Ole, If you think this is something, wait until I am able to get some photos off of the xk120 barn find. BRG XK120 with Brooklands screens and a very cool giant flip style fuel filler. The car has some iteresting aluminum work on it and may possibly be an ex racer!.

Looking forward to story!

I have a couple of MGA ads I would trade. Let me know if you are looking for any specific ad.

Must have taken ages to make that.

Hey Mark,

It took all of an hour to decide, cut and weld in the MGB "teeth" in.
The mounting flush took a little longer as rummaging through dozens of cigar boxes looking for the right length screws to get the flush right is a pain.
I still have to weld a couple extensions on to the end of the valance so it meets up th the lower front fender correctly.
