MG MGA - crossflow cyl head manifolds
I have a 1600 MGA with crossflow cylinder head which had to have some work (ouch!). My garage says that the inlet manifold gasket is non standard (manifold has SU's). Moss and Brown and Gammons both say they only list standard gaskets for all types of head. Any clues? |

Make your own? Not difficult. |

Hi Hugh What make of crossflow head have you got and what inlet manifold/carbs are you using? John |

The crossflow head is an HRG. Dunno who made the inlet manifold. |

Hi hugh, I make my own for the inlets on the HRG head and use a standard exhaust manifold as the basis for the exhaust manifold. Mark |

HRG also made the manifolds. You just need to cut the manifold gaskets from suitable gasket material. For various manifolds used see http://www.rhodo.citymax.com/hrgmanifolds.html |
