Steve Gyles...about to get a laminated windscreen cut down to the 10.75in height you mentioned...can you advise the radius of the top corners . I guessed about 70mm but would appreciate your advice before the irreversible happens . Neiil |

Hi Neil I am afraid I am away from home and the MGA for another 10 days, so cannot help you in the immediate future. Steve |

Steve..thanks for getting back to me. Bob West is putting together the side and bottom frame pieces for me and I will ask him the same question . How can you live without the car for such an enormous amount of time? I imagined you had a bed in the garage.. |

Neil Family duties called, unfortunately. Looking after my daughter's 13 week old field spaniel while she, her partner and triplets take a 2 week break in California! Alright for some. Steve |

Neil The main benefit of being parted from my MGA is that my daughter's partner put me on the insurance for his Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic and told me to enjoy it. The only thing he did not do was to leave me his credit card for petrol! At 12 mpg I am not going far in it, but had a quick spin this morning. Amazing. acceleration reminded me of putting the burners in on my fighter. I had a quick burn up the M1 for 10 miles. Nothing stayed with me when I put my foot down. The sound from the exhaust was to be believed. Oh well, I guess I can dream. Steve |

Steve....You are being unfaithfull! You have left a middle aged but lovely petite and low maintenance midlands girl back home and are out gallivanting with a young big breasted and expensive Italian. Neil |

Neil I wish........................ Just been looking at some of my photos. I don't appear to have much of a radius on the windscreen. I think the choice is yours. I think I would prefer bit more of a cutaway round the edge. http://www.mgaroadster.co.uk/mga_sports_windscreen.htm Steve |

Steve.....Thanks for advice. I am going to use 70mm radius ( approx 3in ). I did a paper cutout and it looks balanced. ....and has the tide in the Irish Sea totally gone out ....I can see Ireland!! Neil PS I was born and raised in Liverpool and also lived back in NWest ( home in Chester) for 2 years late 90s..recognise those views and the huge tide! |

Neil Ah, a Pom. The secret is out! Granny's Bay near the White Church in Lytham looking south towards Southport. In my 19 years up here I can count the number of times I have seen the tide in on 2 hands. Steve |
