MG MGA - Deluxe Seats - Pirelli Webbing & Clips

Hi Guys,

What width Pirelli Webbing do I need for Deluxe seats?

Also where can I get a couple more clips.
They look similar to Morris Minors !!!

Thanks in advance.

Mark,

Yes, that looks about correct [can't quite see the 2nd portion of the clip though as the pic is too small] - see attached what I'm referring to.

Hi Mark,

Perfect. Thanks for that photo.

So 50mm webbing is too wide.

What width webbing do you have in your car?

Cheers

Peter Rather... Appologies.

Hi Mark,

I would think 50mm would be too wide. My new webbing is packed away deep in a box somewhere so cannot confirm, but the original de-luxe clip as per the pic suggests 35-36mm wide or thereabouts so that it doesn't curl over at the end of the clip as it wraps around? Maybe it's 1.5" [38mm??]

In the end I ordered 7m of 38mm Pirelli webbing from this company for £22:

That should be enough for one seat.

I've ordered the foams from Newton. £150 for 4 swabs (back and bottom).

Barney has kindly updated his web page on the subject here:

Have a good weekend
