MG MGA - Distributor drive
Hi All, I have an old distributor which has no drive lugs fitted to the bottom of the drive shaft - can these be fitted to make it useable ? Apart from this the dizzy is in good, apparently unused condition- cheers Cam |

Yes. Buy the drive dog. Drill it if necessary for the cross pin. Pay attention to the direction of offset on the drive tangs so the rotor will point in the right direction. |

Thanks Barney - I'll have a go. |

Cam, I think I have a spare distributor (with cracked casing), if you want it send me a mail. Neil |

Thanks Neil - It would be useful for the spare drive dog - will email you - cheers Cam |

Thanks again for the excellent service Neil - this is what makes this BBS and the MGA fraternity great to be part of - hope to meet up in the near future for that pint - cheers Cam |
