MG MGA - Dwell Meter

Is there a difference between a dwell meter and a dwell tach meter, or are they the same thing?

A dwell meter measures the % time the points are closed. It is a one-purpose device. A dwell-tach meter will add a tachometer function. Mine ( an old analod JCPenney model) additionally has a DC voltmeter and a Ammeter for generator output current. As it sounds, the dwell-tach meter will do the same as the dwell meter and more.
