MG MGA - Fan guard
During a radiator re-core, the fan guard/hood prop rod locater was not resoldered back on. It is also missing. Anyone have a junk radiator and willing to remove this needed part? It is soldered to top tank. Let me know price. Thanks Bob Wrenn |

If no one responds, I've seen MGA rads on eBay from time to time. Good luck, M.D. '57 Coupe |

No need to buy one just make it out of sheet brass. If you need a template I can copy off a stock radiator. |

Iv'e got one stuck on an old radiator. The cost to rebuild it here in Japan was double the cost of a replacement. Went with the replacement. If I can get if off you have have it for the cost of shipping. |

I was wrong it is made out of mild steel sheet, not brass, .050 thick including paint. They are soldered on. If you have an old one just melt the solder with a torch and it will come off. Be carefull installing it so nothing else comes undone while soldering it on. |
