MG MGA - Halda Tripmaster wanted
I'm looking to acquire a Halda metal case Tripmaster or Twinmaster. Don't need the cable or gearset. Restoration candidate is ok. Contact <gag@aps.anl.gov>. Thanks! |

Like this? Alas this one isn't for sale as I got it from my father in law as a present. I'm however looking for a cable T-piece to connect the Halda Speedpilot that's pictured on the left to my MG Y. |

Yes Willem, that's the Twinmaster, nice piece. Very pricey usually. Can't afford ones I've seen on ebay, thought I'd try finding one in someone's garage that needed TLC. Do a search in ebay motors for "Halda", you might find the cable piece you need for the Speedpilot. Good Luck, George |

Willem, Back a few years I contacted HALDEX AB in Sweden, and then found a distributor of Halda parts in Scotland. Also, taxi service companies used to supply cable parts when taxis had analogue meters, also supplied by HALDEX. Unfortunately, most taxi meters these days are digital and electronic, so no cables needed, just a transducer at the wheel or the gearbox. Good luck with your search. Peter. |
