Merry christmas to all, For those in the hotter countries, enjoy your driving your MGA. Cheers <MARK> |

Nice thought Dominic, Happy Christmas to you too. we don't need a hot country though, Mark, to enjoy driving MGA's. One of the nicest things here (in chilly UK) is driving with the hood down on a cold, crispy day with the heater blasting (as only an MGA heater can!) - wind in the hair, sound from the exhaust, tappets clattering away, admiring (or pitying), looks from the nerds in their moderns. What could be better?? I'll be out in mine on Christmas Day for a quick trip up the road to give me an appetite for breakfast!! Happy Christmas and great MGA'ing in 2006 to all Dave |

Merry Xmas to you Dominic and all. Just to get an idea of the temperatures here at the moment (35degC most days), David Godwin and I picked up our cars from the Brisbane docks last Thursday after our trip to the UK, and my car nearly boiled on the 90K trip back to the Gold Coast..it ran perfectly in UK conditions, but doesn't like the Aussie temperatures at all..I had to keep the heater open just to get home! I am about to introduce a Kenlowe sucker fan to the engine side of the radiator, so will see if that helps. |

I've never met any of you, but your names are so familier through these pages (Some more than others) I feel I know you all, sharing our interest in these lovely old cars, so I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas from Herefordshire, England By the way. There was this young boy, talking to his grandad, telling him all the things he had put on his list to Santa. There was a play station, mountain bike, DVD player, Nike trainers etc. The grandfather said'when I was a boy, all I got in my stocking was an orange and an apple' The boy said 'wow!! You got a mobile phone and an i-pod' Merry Xmas |
