This BBS is for exchange of information related to our MGAs. I just love being part of the world-wide MGA family, however, I believe that religious comments such as these are inappropriate here and have no place on this BBS. |

I hope people don't get too up tight about a casual personal greeting on a special day. It's a noted national holiday in the USA, where lots of people get the day off of work (or school) on the Friday before (Good Friday). We celebrate Christmas here too. Merry Christmas or Happy Easter is fine with me (just don't push the religious aspect too much on a special interest MG forum). |

Not so happy for all... En route to walk the dogs on Salisbury Plain this morning, I stopped on the main road to help push a 1600 Mark 2 roadster(lovely condition OEW)on its way to a rally in the fog. The new rotor arm had disintegrated (how often have we heard or seen that). Offered to fetch the rotor arm from mine (which is resting!) but he preferred to trailer it home. Nice to know there is another A only 5 miles away. Spent the rest of the day (Bank Holiday over here) changing the brakes on the 1963 Morris Traveller, which has priority over the A for now whilst the spare 1500 block is being machined. Luckily the 1959 Land Rover is running fine... Shane |
