MG MGA - Ignition Timing

My 1600 with stage 2 tune is currently set up at 32 degrees max advance. This was done on the rolling road. I am moving to a new pertronix Ignitor 2 distributor and guess that with the stronger spark I should be able to reduce this advance to 30 or maybe even 28 degrees. Has anybody had a similar set up on a rolling road and what advance resulted ? Thanks for your help.

Or if nobody has a comment on a rolling road set up can anyone say what max advance they are using with electronic ignition and whether it should be less advance than with a standard set up. Thanks
T Holden

Your total advance should not alter regardless of what you ignite it with. Its the burning rate of the air/fuel mixture that decides that. Dont waste the RR session, if it gave the best result with 32* set it at that. Denis
