MG MGA - I'm worried

I know I will regret this post, but I can't think of any jobs to do on the car. It's running well, possibly a little too rich, and could do with a wash and polish, but nothing is wrong with it.
Someone please suggest something, otherwise i will have to start in the garden.

Oil your leaf springs. That should keep you out of trouble.
Bill Spohn

Is that a serious suggestion, or is it like sending an apprentice for a long weight.
Nigel Munford

Put the car up on jack stands and detail the undercarriage. I did that to my 1957 TR3 at the end of each driving season! Be sure to buy PLEANTY of cotton swabs!
Robert Maupin

Fix some of the oil leaks!

When you’re following Robert’s advice rotate your tyres. If you have a bicycle-pump you can also change the air in them for spring!
David Werblow

Rotate your spark plugs.

Check your wiring for leaks, seal and top up with the Lucas Replacement Smoke Kit.

What ever you do, you do understand that the garden will still have to be done.

Straight to the GARDEN. "If it aint broke --------"
Or, better still, to the local for a pint!!!!!!

Invite me over to have a look at your wiring harness, Im certain that I can set fire to something for you like I seem to do to mine everytime I look at it!!

Maybe I should have taken up gardening as a hobby but with all those mechanical grass chopper things and dangerous looking garden implements, I probably wouldnt survive the spring!

Pub sounds good to me.

I drove mine on 3rd Jan and then again on 27th Feb. It's not running at its best, so I will book it in for a proper tuning session on a rolling road after my holidays. It also needs a service before then.

I've been busy preparing to convert a pull-handle B to wire wheels for a friend of mine. The used WW axle came from the Welsh MG Centre - extremely nice guy and very helpful when DPD lost the parcel. Still waiting for him to sort out the last bits. One hub took a welding torch and a LARGE slide hammer to get it to come free, and the seal surface is toast (hence my request for help with speedisleeve shipping last week). Now all is shining black paint, new bolts, new bearings and will keep me busy for a day when I get back too.

That's after sorting out a Motoguzzi bike for another friend (fixing the DPO wiring hacks, converting to LHD lighting and doing some welding on the exhaust studs).

Just as well my garage is nice and warm!

When it's not broke I usually am, having just fixed it.
