MG MGA - King Dick Wrench

Cleaning out my garage. Came across this item that I hope the tool experts might help me with. It likely came from my 1959 MGA and although a bit rusted it shows the King Dick inscription. Is this something a tool collector might want and would it have any value? It is only taking up space for me.
Thanks,
Tom

And, as a piece of trivia, King Dick was named after the owner's prize winning bulldog sometime I think in the 1930s. The company was then called Abingdon engineering. It is still going and is now officially called King Dick Tools.

I don't think they are King Dick but I have several of this type wrench from about 4 to 9 inches long. They are occasionally useful for car and plumbing jobs.

Those old tools are neat to look at, but not ergonomically very efficient ;) Cheers,

Sorry to disappoint anyone wanting to make a killing but they are 10 a penny on UK Ebay. Lovely as they are the asking price varies from $5 to $15.

Currently there are 78 in the listings.

Thanks all for the informed advice. I guess this little trophy from my 46-year old purchase will continue to grace my garage shelves!

We called those "bicycle wrenches " back in the day. I knew a tool collector who also referred to them as such.

I have used mine quite a bit but not very often on cars. My main use was for plumbing where its right angled adjustable jaw could be useful in awkward spaces particularly for radiator valves.

Not really a car tool.
