MG MGA - Looking for infomation - New Hampshire car.
10 or 12 years ago as I was driving South through New Hampshire, I got tired of driving on I-89, on (maybe) Rtes 114/13. I was heading for Milford. Maybe near Weare. Anyway, on the right side of the road, set back a bit, I spotted a repair shop in the trees with a Morris Minor outside. I stopped and chatted with the owner and he showed me a project he was working on. It was a frog-eye Sprite that he was going to install a Volkswagen engine mated to a Ford 5 speed gearbox! He'd already adapted the box to the engine. I was wondering if anyone knows about the car. Was it ever finished? I've always wondered and thought I'd throw it on the BBS. |

I live not far from there and maybe I should go driving around and find this garage! I will first check the area yellow pages and such...will let you know if I find it. |

Hi there everyone in NH. I was cleaning/organizing the garage today and I actually found the Business card of the guy I'm trying to track down. His name's Dana Richardson Auto Repairs, 82 Weare Rd, Henniker, NH. Anyone know him or know if he's still in business? |

Can't find him listed locally here, but I'll try a couple more searches. The number given by the Henniker, NH city hall directory is not in service, so maybe he is gone. Henniker is the only "Henniker" in the world, according to the local bumper stickers up there. If you were driving thru Henniker, you were taking the scenic route! |

According to a web search on the address.... it is now known as: Dana's Autosport (603) 428-7372 82 Weare Rd Henniker, NH 03242 |

That number is disconnected...I had tried it. Can't find a better one either. Guess he's gone... JIM |

I'm unable to supply you with the drawings. I would however suggest that since your brackets are in question to begin with, that you try manipulating yours to make the bumper fit perfectly. The bracket's I've previously purchased from Moss are not perfect either. If this is your first attempt at fitting the front bumper I suggest that you wrap the bumper ends with a couple layers of masking tape to avoid scratches and also use a floor jack to help hold things in place while tightening it all up, and above all be patient. It can be quite a pain to get just right. Good luck. j |

How much effort do you want to put forth? Henniker NH had a population of 4433 in 2000. There is a listing for a Philip Richardson (CPA) at (603) 428-3270. Somebody with the same last name in a small town, might have info. |
