MG MGA - Master Cylinder Rubbers
| I replaced the master cylinder rubbers in my 1960 Mk. 1 1600 about ten years ago but never refilled the brake & clutch fluid. I have now replaced the rubbers with a set from Moss and sure enough I have the same problem which has been discussed several times recently - the pistons have stuck in the bores. Can anyone recommend an alternative supplier of master cylinder rubbers which will fit please? |

| The solution is to reuse one of the old seals, but I can't remeber which one - suggest that you check the archive. I ahve to say that two years after reporting this problem to Moss, I had expected that a solution would have been found, especially for such a safety critical item. Calling Craig Cody..... |
