MG MGA - MGA brackets for brake master cylinder
Hi one and all, i am new to this and my first posting may not make any sense. I have purchased a 58 A which has been converted over to the MGB brake and clutch cylinders. I would like to go back to the OE spec. Does anybody have the correct brackets that i could purchase or are they being re- manufactured? i hope some one can help here. thanks |

I think it's the master cylinder box you're after, part number AHH5947. I don't think Moss do them but it is in Scarborough Faire's catalogue so they may have one new or second hand. There is one on US Ebay right now (item no. 371053990335 ) but it's being sold with a master cylinder and the postage would probably be horrendous. I would suggest an e-mail to Cecelia to see if she has one. If they hadn't been thick steel you might have been able to make one but I think they are made from 16 gauge sheet........................mike |
