MG MGA - MGA clutch slave cylinder interchange?

Can the clutch slave cylinder of an MGB be used on an MGA with the MGA clutch? Or is it best to use the MGA cylinder with the MGA clutch?

Clutch slave cylinder is same part number for MGA and MGB (except Twin Cam).
