MG MGA - MGA gearbox remote control
Does anyone know whether John Twist still offers reconditioned MGA gearbox remote control units? Is there anyone else doing this? Does anyone have an old one for sale (preferably down under)? Mike |

Gregory Brown did a good job on mine 2 or 3 years ago, no idea if he is still doing them or not. http://www.mgaguru.com/mgtech/gearbox/gt206.htm -Del |

Thanks Dominic. It isn't for me but a member of our Club. I'll pass on your contact details to him. Regards Mike |

John Twist has retired and closed University Motors. |

Well, not exactly. University Motors physical shop has been passed on to one of the prior associates, and is still there in operation with a new name, now "Rusty Moose Garage". John Twist still maintains "University Motors, Ltd" as a web site, and a consulting source, still answering tech questions, still doing rolling tech sessions at car shows, and a few other things. John is (technically) retired from his prior MG service shop, but is still active in most other aspects of his service to the public. |
