MG MGA - MGA STEEL WHEEL FRONT HUBS
Hi All.I have tried and failed to find a pair front hubs for my 1600 coupe. Can any body suggest where I might find a pair in England please. This is holding up my build and I am desperate to get the car on its wheels. Can MGB ones be made to fit of all else fails? Thanks for any help. |

Are you looking for second hand? If so have you tried Bob West? Surely they are still available new: Moss BTB106 to 69504 or BTB149 from then on. Steve |

Hi Steve. Thanks for responding. My parts manual shows nca. I would prefer second hand. I am not aware of Bob West. Have you any details for him please? Thanks Simon |

Simon This is he: http://www.bobwestclassiccars.co.uk/ Many of us use Bob. Not much he does not know about the MGA and holds lots of stock, both new and second hand. Mention me if you wish when you speak. Steve |

hi Simon Did you get fixed up. I have a complete set of front hubs, backing plates and drums, came off my 1960 MGA. I am in France but I am sure we can arrange something if you need. Let me know, Barry |

FWIW MGB items do NOT interchange - they use taper roller bearings instead of ball bearings. You'd have to adapt the whole MGB front suspension, which is a fair bit of work. |
