MG MGA - Need MGA 1600 Front Steering

Does anyone know of a source for used MGA parts?

I need the steering knuckles, levers and swivel pins, with or without the top and bottom links for the 1600 with disk brakes.

Any clues to possible sources would be appreciated.

Don,

Try Geoff Rogers in Massachusetts. He usually has a lot of stuff. When I lived in NH I bought several things from him. I don't want to throw his e-mail address under the bus so check the members link at http://www.bsmgac.org. You could also check with Jack Horner at the same club.

Don,
You might check with Scarborough Faire. They have a good supply of used parts at fair prices.

Dominic,

But it it is the levers that are essential, dang!

Don, Scarborough Faire's # is 1-800-556-6300

I also bought a bunch of used parts about 6 months ago from a Gary in PA. He had lots of stuff at good prices. Hope his email is still good; its garynkathy@gmail.com

Don,

You might inquire with O'Connor Classics, http://www.oconnorclassics.com/index.php. The online store only shows a few MGA parts. They have always had what I needed when I asked by email.

The correct levers are going to be hard to find. Make sure that you are getting the correct set. Check out the Barney's site on the topic, http://mgaguru.com/mgtech/suspensn/fs106.htm .

Rather than contacting them, I find I can achieve a similar effect with greater convenience, and less frustration by simply running fifty dollar bills through the shredder.... 8^)
