MG MGA - Need to rebuild twin cam fuel pump..need bits
Hi there, I have to rebuild the original fuel pump in a twin cam, I was wondering if someone can point me to a good supplier of bits to do so. thanks Kevin PS, alternate applications of the twin cam fuel pump will help also, for example, if the same fuel pump was used on a jag, I can search jag parts websites. thanks Kevin |

Kevin - You can get all the parts necessary for rebuilding the LCS fuel pump you have (or even get a brand new one) from Burlen Fuel Systems in England http://www.burlen.co.uk/ Just go the Parts Store , then on SU fuel pumps and select the one you have (either AUA 152, flat end cover or AUA 157, stepped end cover). Other cars using the LCS type fuel pumps are the big Healeys and the XK 120, 140, 150 Jags, but I would recommend getting the parts from Burlen Fuel Systems since they will be the proper SU parts (this is especially true for the points as the after market points are junk). You can also see my SU fuel pump services at: http://www.custompistols.com/cars/dave/ddsu_fuel_pump_services.htm Cheers - Dave |

David, That's a very thorough restoration, and for a very reasonable fee. I may just make use of your services for my ZA's pump when the driving season is over for the year. Cheers, Rich |

Rick and Kevin - I just checked the write up that I have on Les' web site and realized that I never updated that page when I raised my rates. I am now charging $55 for the single ended pumps and $110 for the double ended pumps. Cheers - Dave |
