MG MGA - Never let your kid near your MGA
My now 22 year old son has done some nice work on our A so when it was time to install our new directional indicator switch I thought I was safe...nope. no lights, no horn and the engine shuts of if I use the directionals. Time to get out the wiring diagram and determine what he messed up. Kid Russell |

Russell, Barney's website has all you need to know. Read the "notes" first as it has details on the most common error. Also Barney's circuit diagrams are easier to follow than the Manual. Russell, sounds like the live is earthed. Did your son take a color blindness test? I am colour blind (note the English colour and not the American color variety!!) and always get my wife to check my colours before adding a battery to the equation!! I had better watch not to end up with the situation mentioned elwehere in the forum!! Neil |
