g c pugh |
Gordon, Welcome back. |
mike parker |
Gordon, How about a centerfold picture of the tool kit? |
James Johanski |
BTW, Welcome back. And the car is very nice! |
James Johanski |
Hi all many thanks for your good wishes, don't know if there is a tool kit will have to wait until it arrives lol' I will have to start a magazine "Tool Kit Monthly" Gordon |
g c pugh |
Hi Gordon - unfortunately can't see the photo (never can see the first image) - but assume it's an MGA - is the frogeye up for sale? - cheers Cam |
Cam Cunningham |
Hi Cam yes it's a A here's another photo which hopefully you can see , frogeye gone back to whence it came lol, knees, back and neck recovering slowly as is the bank balance lol regards gordon |
g c pugh |
Hi Gordon - yes I can see it now -thanks - looks like a sound car - similar to a friend's who's in our club - good luck with it - cheers Cam |
Cam Cunningham |
Gordon Welcome back, although I never noticed your absence. I came all the way out here to source you a car but could not find anything. Wasted journey. Back in the home of the MGA on Monday. Steve |
Steve Gyles |
Hi Steve good to ba back with grown up cars lol Gordon |
g c pugh |
Gordon Is that a strap across the bonnet? Steve |
Steve Gyles |
Hi Steve yes it is, don't know what the point is , it also has louvers, the original bonnet is also there so that will go on asap Gordon |
g c pugh |
Gordon, You could use that as a strap for the toolkits! Neil |
Neil McGurk |
Hi neil can't you sleep either lol, how does the car look to you gordon |
g c pugh |
Have to say, looks absolutely fantastic. I'd be tempted to leave the bonnet and strap too. I agree with you about the front overiders though, they cover up the joint and bolt. What about the engine and driveline? I mean what has it got? Neil |
Neil McGurk |
Hi again standard 1600 with 4 speed mga box, I don't suppose you are anywhere near Northumbria Gordon |
g c pugh |
more photos
|
g c pugh |
and again
|
g c pugh |
Hi Neil, I have no pics of engine or boot they have been promising for about 4 days to do some, I think I paid for the car too soon, should have waited until I'd seen them , too trusting one learns lol Gordon |
g c pugh |
Very nice interior! You need a nice period radio to replace that MGB blank. I'm in the northern Lake District (West Cumbria). I just moved to a farm here, so I've got lots of space for the cars. Northumbria is not far away, about forty minutes of country roads (I'm near the West coast, it's on the East). |
Neil McGurk |
sounds very nice Neil, anywhere near these people, you could go and check it out for me http://www.adventureautos.co.uk/ Gordon |
g c pugh |
hi neil belay that last request geography was never my strong subject lol gordon |
g c pugh |
Gordon Re your photo posted at 0842, that's a real solid aerial the previous owner fitted - and it looks fully rectractable judging by the later photo. Quite a feat of engineering! Steve PS. Been up hours here. 1242 hours. +44 degrees outside in the shade, bit hot. |
Steve Gyles |
Hi Steve that's very funny do you like the wind direction indicator on top gordon |
g c pugh |
Gordon, Is the bonnet with the louvers for sale ? Henri. Belgium |
