MG MGA - New Exhaust System?

I have recently had my '61 engine rebuilt. I have increased HP to around 102. Bored the pistons, etc. I am wondering if I should put in comp. headers and bigger exhaust system. Any feedback?
Thanks, guys!

hello moss sell a ss exhaust made by falcon , i went for a 4 branch manifold and a exhaust system with 1 silencer and a bullet box. unless you are raceing i think you should go for a standard bore system, the tone is sporty but you can travel at high speeds with no noise.the man cost 130pounds and the exhaust was around 70 pound with a life time garantie ,very good value cheers daren

Hey John,

I fitted a Moss header non-stainless some years ago on my "A". I ran a single pipe back from the header pipes to a glass pack muffler the size of a two quart thermos. I brazed all the joints and its smooth and throatie. No problems with high speed cruising and noise. But she barks nice going through the gears. Try it you'll like it.
