MG MGA - nice looking car
Hi all, this one looks quite nice http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MG-MGA-1600-1960-MG-MGA-1600-Mint-Condition-Rare-Rust-Free-/280521823979?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item41506756eb gordon |

I thought I was going to disagree with you Gordon, Some interesting pipe and cable routing in the engine bay. And a pretty horrible trim job on the interior (spare wheel cover, side curtain bags, vynil, armrest!) BUT, looks pretty original and they are relatively easy fixes, so looks like it would be a great car for someone, if the body is as good as it says. |

If anybody is interested in the car let me know and I will take a look at it for you. I live very close to where it is located. This is a body shop and they occationaly have B' and A's on there lot for sale. |

Odd sort of restoration. They appear to have gone to the great trouble of a body off respray, but have not taken the opportunity to paint the rolling chassis while it's all apart. Not sure they can call it 'mint'. Rare and valuable MC cap. Almost worth buying for that! It has the King Dick Jack as original equipment. It was changed to the Shelley LJ225 3575 cars later. Steve |

Decent looking car for the money. A few odd things, like the arm rest being backwards. Curious about the frame, the whole underside in fact. Looks like an afterthought. GTF |

I have the same car. I thought the correct color was glacier blue. He claims his is robin egg blue. Which one is it? I would hate to order the wrong paint when I get to that stage. Mark |

I believe that glacier blue was a 1500 color. This is IRIS blue, a 1600 color. |
