MG MGA - oil pressure gauge pipe
Does the oil pressure gauge pipe attach to the bulkhead in the engine bay some place? This is on a 1500 LHD car. I thought I might do this now, before main wire harness installation! Thanks, George |

It terminates at a double ended connector fixed very close to the starter switch. If you don't have a picture by tomorrow I'll post you one as it's now dark. I think the connector is shown in the SPL.............Mike |

Mike, I have the double connector on the frame, this is where one end of the tube attaches. I don't know if the small tube is held by a P-clip somewhere after the double connector before it passes thru the grommet in the bulkhead to the interior under the dash, before connecting to the gauge. Sorry, my original post is a bit confusing. |

My mistake George. The oil pipe is clipped to the heater shelf at the same place as the temp. gauge capillary using the same type of clip. So there are two identical clips held by one 10-32 screw. All this thanks to Todd Clarkes's Tech. Guide. Apparently there is no difference for both LHD & RHD........................................Mike
