MG MGA - Original UK prices

Does anyone know of a good source of information on the original forecourt prices for MGAs? - I'm trying to find out how much they cost when first produced, over the various years of production.

The book MGA & Twin Cam Gold Portfolio published by Brooklands contains road tests and adverts, some of which include prices.
Initial price in 1956 was £595 + £ 249 10shillings Purchase Tax!
