MG MGA - Parts Supplier Reference
Has anyone ever purchased anything from SC Parts Group Ltd in the UK (https://www.scparts.co.uk/en/)? Are they a reputable supplier? Thanks Jim |

It's been a while but I've bought from them in the past. Never had an issue. |

Yes they are very reputable. They are part of the German Limora company. I got excellent rear springs from them a few years ago on the recommendation of a restorer member of this group in Switzerland. I also did a recent purchase.
Interestingly their web site is identical to the German one except for language and prices. In both cases my order arrived quickly despite being shipped directly from Germany. Interestingly the Hardie fuel pump that is widely used substitute for SU is made by Limora if you look at the instructions. Paul |

Paul This thread prompted me to search their reviews. They are mainly very poor, although admittedly they dated from about 2009 to 2020. I couldn't see much if anything from more recent years so may be they have improved. Many of the reviews seemed to be from Jaguar and Healey owners. I don't need anything for my MGA but if I did I would likely go to the more well known MG suppliers who I normally deal with. Just saying. Steve |

Jim I've had a gun run with English Parts.Com Good guys to talk to and will do their best with good shipping deals. Although that isn't such an issue for you being nearby. Their website takes a bit of navigating but if you know what you're after you can type it in--They've got heaps more than what's listed and i've never had a stuffed up order or shonky parts - 100% rating from me. willy https://www.englishparts.com/ |
