MG MGA - Pat Moss
Hi, I am over from the Sprite and midget BBS. Someone there suggested I post this here too because of Pat's involvement with MGAs. Pat Moss Died last week but it seems to have had very little coverage http://tinyurl.com/5wqerd RIP Guy |

No coverage here either. She was a major figure in European rallying as well as being closely related to a motorsport icon of the lesser sex, and deserves more! Nostalgicly, Bob Prentice |

Guy, Vale Pat. Thanks for the info, I may never have found that as it had no coverage here. I followed her career, in awe and envy, as a youngster. A champion gone far too young. Barry |

Very sad news and the first I have heard of it. A pity that the UK media didn't give her death higher priority. I followed her successes in the 60's along with her brother Stirling's. Perhaps because she lived in Scandinavia she has been overlooked. |

She did more in Healey 100 sixes than MGAs but was a great ambassador for motoring and motorsport. There was quite a long obituary in The Times. See here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/obituaries/article4964575.ece David |

I first met Pat Moss when she came to Kenya to do the Safari Rally in the sixties. She was a very approachable person. She met her husband, Erik Carlsson, in Kenya when they were both rallying in Saabs. They were a striking couple. If it hadn't been for Guy's posting here, we would not have known of her early demise. (not mentioned by the media here on the West coast of Canada) Thank you. Peter. |

Guy, Thanks for the information. I did not know she had passed. She was some special lady. David... |
