MG MGA - Premium ceramic Classic Gold brake pads?
I bought a set of Classic Gold premium ceramic brake pads recently. What is the general opinion on them? Are they "nearly dust free" as claimed (the bane of chrome wire wheels). Regards Mike |

I bought a these from moss and I was unable to get them on the car without sanding half the pad away. I have done many brakes on my cars and they would just not fit. I had the rotors cut and one side fit but I had to sand the pads inorder to get the other side on. |

I have eventually gotten around to fitting these pads - no issues fitting, so they must have fixed whatever was wrong - let's see how they go on the road! (I did take the calipers off and clean the exposed pistons with CRC Brakleen and a tooth brush before pushing back with a G clamp to be sure they went all the way back). Mike |

With the help of my friend Craig, I just fitted a set of these to my 1600 MKII about 2 months ago. The only issue that we had was that we had to be sure that the caliper piston was completely retracted into the housing to get them to go in. The stopping power seems fine so far. |
