My apologies if this is a repost, but some amazing reference pictures in the MG (blue car) section. http://www.motoringinvestments.com/ John |

Hi looks like a lovely car, the pale blue one, you would think they could put the correct door rubbers on it though, just to be picky |

Gorden, I presume you mean the door buffers should overlap the shut face plate. Do you know if the correct type are available? John |

Hi John I mean't the door seals http://www.clarkespares.com/doorseals.html as per these, don't know about the buffers i'm afraid Gordon |

Indeed it looks like a lovely car, the pale blue one, you would think they could put the correct Jaeger duo gauge instead of the Smiths in on it though, just to be picky. |

The Glacier Blue Looks like my car is going to look. Albeit mine will have the black with light blue piping for seats. Nice to see a picture other than the one I have in my head. Same year, near same serial #, but mine still has the drum brakes up front. |

It looks like a nicely done restoration, but there are a lot of things they got wrong, starting with the color. 1500s only came in Glacier Blue but that looks closer to Iris Blue. My car was originally Glacier Blue and I have a very pristine sample of the color inside the taillight plinths. It is much darker and has a lot more green in it. For $42,000, I would want it to be correct. Larry |
