MG MGA - Rewiring MGA

I am in the middle of refurbishing my MGA, but I've hit a snag - it seems like ages ago that I stripped out the old front and rear lighting looms, and I can't figure out where to attach the new ones to the bodywork. For example, does the rear one sit inside the boot compartment, or is it slung underneath? Same sort of question for the front one? Next time, I really must take better notes!

Barney has a lot on his site. This is the elctrical section: http://www.mgaguru.com/mgtech/electric/electr_2.htm

On this index page he also has a bit on the wiring loom:

Wow. Too much to remember on my web site. It has been a long time since I looked at that last page. It has a a few minor errors or omissions, and I may delete the page rather than revising it. There are better harness installation instructions here:

If you are doing a 1600 there are a few minor changes for the dash connections related to the turn signal switch, easy to find in the wiring diagrams. A Twin Cam has the ignition coil wire(s) running to the opposite side of the engine bay, forward from the wiper motor.
