MG MGA - RHD clutch pedal
As any of you know that have done LHD to RHD conversions, the RHD clutch pedal is the hardest thing to find...even rarer than Lucas flasher relays! The LHD brake pedal can be reused, but not the clutch pedal. NTG in the UK sell new clutch pedals, but they are totally wrong in length and shape...all other suppliers (if they have them) are the same...me-thinks that one guy is supplying all??
It has been mentioned to me that the very early MGB RHD cars had the same clutch/brake pedals. Does anyone know if an early MGB pedal is the same as the MGA one? |

I think I just bent the original LH pedal, but that was 30 years ago.... |

Hi Gary I have found my 1600 mga and my son’s 1964 mgb pedals to compare and they differ in profile, tops of levers and return spring holes. I have tried adding photos for your info but will not load as too large. Could send if you wish to forward your email. Hope this helps clarify. Perhaps someone on the mgb forum could confirm. Brian |
