MG MGA - Right front disc brake

When I spin the right front wheel I can hear that the disc is rubbing against the pad the entire time. It does get slightly better and worse as it spins indicating a slight warp in the disc. However I know its not supposed to be rubbing the entire time.

I thought these were supposed to be self adjusting brakes.

How do I adjust?
Tysen

Tysen,
The pads only retract a tiny bit from the rotor. The situation you describe is perfectly normal. As long as the wheel turns free there's nothing to worry about.

If they aren't retracting all the way, you need to disassemble, clean, replace pistons if pitted, put a kit of seals in, and probably replace the flex hoses. If it's just a minor annoyance now, put it on your list of future repairs. The pistons are probably about $25 each.

If the brakes aren't pulling or heating up, there's probably not a problem.
