MG MGA - Seat Back Upholstering
When putting new seat upholstery on the back seat, I've seen two approaches related to the horsehair pads. 1. A small horsehair pad is placed behind the main large horsehair pad near the bottom, this for lumbar support. 2. An additional smaller horsehair pad is also placed behind the large pad near the top of the back frame. Which is correct? What would be the purpose of the upper additional pad? Thanks! George |

Put it in the bottom. Your back will thank you. I ran without the lumbar pads for 15 years, not knowing it should be there. When I rebuilt the seats next time around, the lumbar pad was available, so I put it in there, and it is WONDERFUL. |
